Utama Spice Products
Utama Spice stocks a range of beauty products for face, hair, body and mind. I chose a lovely selection of products to review; here are my thoughts…
This has a lovely gentle scent and leaves my skin feeling really soft but not greasy. I especially like it for my hands, which sometimes get very dry. I am a big fan of coconut as a natural skincare product and there are awesome sensory benefits of lavender as well. As with all of the products I tried, it smells very natural and is not at all overpowering.
This coconut lotion range also comes in other wonderful sounding scents too.
Again, I chose lavender for the body butter. There are others to choose from, but I didn’t want to mix up too many different scents and cause sensory overload, plus lavender is one of my partner’s fave smells, so I opted for this one! Lavender is good for de-stressing/ relaxing, and can aid sleep too. Again, the scent was subtle and we liked it. Body butter is a wonderful luxury to indulge in for a spa at home type feeling.
This is a fun product that also works well as a deep moisturiser. It contains a fab blend of aromatherapy essential oils (Cubeb, Cinnamon and Patchouli) along with coconut oil. This also makes for great aftersun skincare too.
I was tempted to stick on the lavender theme again, but I was really drawn to the name of this one, so went with that. Ocean breeze; it conjures up a lovely fresh smell in my mind. The product itself is exactly this; a lovely mild fresh scent. It is a light refreshing spray that is great for summer days.
This moisturising lip balm is made from virgin coconut oil and beeswax infused with citrus leaf, lemon, fennel and lavender essential oils. It is a lovely effective lip balm with a natural herby scent that doesn’t feel too heavy.
£15.99 (This product is available on Amazon UK as well as elsewhere)
This yoga mat spray has a unique blend of essential oils with antifungal and anti-bacterial properties to disinfect and deoderise your mat effectively.
