Sooper Books: Kid’s Online Bedtime Stories (With Audio)

Sooper Books was launched last year by husband and wife team, Simon and Charlene. In essence, they publish bookshop-quality stories online that you can access anywhere, anytime, on any device for a small annual membership fee. Each story even has a professional audiobook version too! This storybook subscription service is perfect for bedtime stories!

The stories are a mixture of original contemporary retellings of classic fairy tales and 100% original stories, with new original series content and contemporary Aesop’s fables coming soon. Infact, there will be over 100 new stories coming in 2021 – all included in the small annual membership price of just £7.95 per year. You can also sign up to a 7 day free trial before deciding whether to commit.

Kid’s Drawing Competition: Your Child’s Doodle Turned Into A Published Story With Sooper Books

Would your child love for their doodle to become the inspiration of a published story on this popular site? This unique prize is being offered to one lucky winner of our children’s drawing competition, in collaboration with Sooper Books!

This competition is open to all ages 12 and under. Simply share your child’s drawing in the comments section (as an attachment) below, and tell us your child’s age, to enter the competition! (Alternatively email it to me to post in comments for you).

The winning piece will be selected by the team at Sooper Books and will become the inspiration for the character. They will take the winning doodle and work it into a story with professional illustrations. Plus they can even mention the winner by name if you would like!

Competition ends at midnight on 25/04/21. (Entries received after this time sadly cannot be counted).

  1. My daughter Poppy is 8 and thinks her character Kia, who’s 10 and can turn into the tropical bird, would make a fab book character. ☺️

What a lovely competition idea! Xx

  2. This subscription looks like a really good idea to engage children with books. My daughter would love it, and it would also be really useful for car journeys too.
